Litterateur Shankar Lamichhane (1928-1976 AD)
Shankhar Lamichhane was an eminent Essayist of Nepal's Literature. He was born in 4th Chaitra, 1984 B.S. in Jaisidewal, Kathmandu, Nepal. Son of Mr. Hari Prasad Lamichhane and Mrs. Raj Kumari Lamichhane.
He started his literary journey by his article titled "Hamro Samajma Nari ko Mulya" published in literary magazine "Sahity Shrot" in the year 2003 B.S. in 2024 B.S. he received Madan Puraskar (Literary award) for his collection of essay "Abstract chintan: Pyaj". As a talented essayist he has written various books as "Gauthaliko Gund" (a collection of stories, 2027 B.S.), "Godhuli Sansar" (Collection of essays, 2027 B.S.), "Bimba Pratibimba" (review, 2027 B.S.), "Shankar Lamichhane" (autobiography, 2032 B.S.) and "Essay of Shankar Lamichhane". His writing are often based of experimental essays. He has edited a course book "Hamro Sahity" from grade one to grade eight. He also worked as an editor of Indreni Magazine.

Musician Mr. Yagyaraj Sharma Arjyal (1903- 1989 AD)
In the history of Nepali music an eminent musician Mr. Yagyaraj Sharma Arjyal was born in 1093 A.D. on the auspicious day of Shivaratri in Gyaneshwor, Kathmandu. He received his preliminary education at home and later he went to Durbar High School. He was the second son of Mrs. Bhuvaneshwari and Mr. Vedraj Arjyal. While studying in Durbar High School he lost his father. Later he went to Mumbai (Bombay) and studied music for three years from Belayat Hussian Khan and Faiyaz Khan of Baroda. He further learned music from Krishna Rao Shankar of Gwalior and after completing his education he returned to Nepal.
Pundit Yagyaraj Sharma Arjyal was the first to start the music education in Nepal. He had many students during the Rana regime. Musicians like Nararaj Dhakal and Ustad (Master) Ganesh Lal were his students. Though Juddha Shamsher did appreciate his talent in music, it was King Mahandra who helped him to establish the first school of music in the year 2012 B.S. and fourty eight Nepalese students have received the degree in music from there.
For his didication and devotion towards music he was awarded the most outstanding musician award "Sangeet Shiromani" in B.S. 2013. He was appointed the member of Academic council of Nepal Academy. He was the chief of music department from B.S. 2014 to B.S. 2022. Later he was the life member of Nepal Academy. His invention of music instrument and music like 'Istaka Taranga" awarded him Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand).

Politician Ekdev Aale (1923-1968 AD)
Ekdev Aale was the active politician of Nepali democratic movement. He was born in 1923 AD at maanung- Archalathok of Tanahu Distric, Gandaki Zone, on the lap of mother Boimaya and father Pahal Sing Aale in an ordinary peasant family. He got recruited to the Gurkha regiment of the British Government at he age of 15. He fought th 2nd World war as a British Army and after the end of the World war he has been retired.
He was influenced by the ongoing 'Freedom Movement' of indian people and also came to known about 'martyrs' issue of 1997 B.S. in Nepal. when the Rana rulers had murdered the brabe children of Nepal mother on the cause of violation of their order and supermecy, then he committed to do fight against Rana ruler. He was devoted towards the political movement after he met to leader "Subas Chandra Bose", (Alad Hind) Force in Calcutta. And he joined in Nepali Mukti Sena of Nepal. He played successful role in liberating Birganj and Bandipur from the Rana rulers. He had also did leadership of the poor and landless farmers. He became life long political member from 2009 B.B. after joining with communist party and played active role for transformation of political, economic, social and cultural status of the nation. In 2023 B.S. he led the campaign of awaking and organizing Nepalese who have been compelled to go to the foreignl and seeking for livelihood and establishing Foreign Nepalese welfare Association for these people.
Ekdev Aale was passed away in 26 January, 1969 at the Darvanga Medical college of Bihar-India.

Politician Motidevi Shrestha (1913-1997 AD)
Motidevi Shrestha was the exam plenary political woman figure of Nepali democratic movement. She was born in 1913 AD. Her father was Krishna Lal Shrestha and mother Laxmi Kumari Shrestha.
She was became a founder member of communist party in the campaign of making people aware and organise for to brought drastic change in the country. She thought that there need of disiplined, energetic and revolutionary party for notable change in the nation. She had done important contribution in the field of womea empowerment. She enlarge her hand not only with in the country but also in abroad for to do word in women as well as social freedom movement. Motidevi Smriti Kendra has been established in B.S. 2054 for to honour her contribution and to make more wide, energetic and organise of women movement in the country. Her courage and bravery behaviour against Rana regime at that unfavarable situation is really a praiseworthy for Nepali people espicially for Nepalese women. She was also known as Durgadevi Shrestha.
She was passed away in B.S. 2045 Jesth 7.

Industrialist Mohan Gopal Khetan (1947-2007 AD)

Mohan Gopal Khetan was born on Bhadra 18, 2004 BS (September 3, 1947 AD). M.Com. & B.L. graduate Mr. Khetan was a man with sharp mind. Possessing the quality of being rational & patience not only had enabled him to undersatand the global business but also gave a concrete diretion and pace to industrialization by organizing his envision accordingly. The fame of the business empire had being established almost 150 years ago by his great grandfather Late Kisunlal and succeeded by grandfather Late Purnamal Khetan, father Late Shri Biharilal Khetan along with the contribution made by "Battis Koti Mahajan" well recognized in the History of Nepal was further enhanced and expanded by his four decade long dedication and contribution.
His contribution to the society has been recognized in various national and international platforms and was honored by medals such as; Suprashiddha Prawal Gorkha Dakshinbahu (First Class), Medal of Merit 92-93 Lions Club international, Rotary PHF, Award for Environment (UNDP) and Posthumously, he is the recipient of "Agrawal Tejaswi Ratna" and  "Honor" from Government of Turkey, Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce & industry and so on among many.
Dedicating his whole life towards the industrial development of Nepal, Mohan Gopal Khetan went to heavenly aboard on Baishak 13, 2064 B.S. (April 26th, 2007 A.D.) whom we shall always remember as a legacy rather than just an individual.
